BIO 324 Pathogenic Microbiology

Considers the role of bacteria and fungi in the diseases of man with emphasis upon the differentiation and culture of microorganisms, types of diseases, immunology, modes of disease transmission, prophylactic, therapeutic and epidemiological aspects. Two hours lecture and two hours lab/week. Prerequisites: BIO 161, BIO 162, and BIO 220. (Offered spring semester.)
