BIO 375 Histology

Involves the microscopic examination of vertebrate tissues from morphological and physiological perspectives. Reference made to organ embryogenesis to support understanding of organ form and function. Laboratory work involves extensive examination of microscope slides. Tissue preparation for histological examination is demonstrated. Two hours lecture and two hours lab/week. Prerequisites: BIO 161 and BIO 162. (Offered spring semester.)
