MGT 340 Human Resource Management

Investigates the role of organization as it pertains to the attraction, selection and retention of human resources. Human resource strategies, methods, techniques, and procedures are examined with emphasis on job analysis, human resource planning and forecasting, recruitment, selection, training and development, compensation, and benefits. Impact of state and federal legislation on human resource techniques discussed. Prerequisite: MGT 305 or departmental permission.
