SPN 361 Masterpieces of Spanish-American Literature

Designed to read and study in depth selective works of Spanish-American literature in all genres from the pre-colonial period to the present day framing the works in their social and historical context. The purpose is to do close readings of both the selected texts and the socio-political and other cultural trends that were dominant at the time they were written and published. Prerequisite: SPN 343.
